Beyonder appoints new EVP Sales & Solutions

We are delighted to announce that Terje U. Eiken has joined Beyonder as the new Executive Vice President of Sales & Solutions, effective September 2024.  He brings unique qualities, knowledge and experiences from various sectors such as energy and renewables, oil and gas, and technology to the Beyonder Sales & Solution team. With clear goals for Beyonder’s commercial phase, he is set to position the company as a leader in the global energy transition.

I am committed to making Beyonder a leader in the global energy storage market. My expectations for Beyonder´s Sales & Solutions journey is significant market penetration and establishing our brand as a benchmark in the battery industry. The aim is to drive Beyonder's growth by building a high-performing sales team focused on customer success, innovation, tailored solutions and sustainability.

With Terje comes an impressive, and proven track record, of driving growth and spearheading strategic initiatives across various industries, notably in the energy and renewable sectors, oil and gas, and technology. His profound expertise in crafting tailored sales & solutions, successful scale-ups and turnarounds for companies to become reliable and high performing is expected to have a significant positive impact on Beyonder’s journey going forward. With a clear strategy, defined by advanced energy storage solutions and customer-centric offerings he aims to position Beyonder as a leader in the global energy transition, delivering both business growth and positive environmental impact.

- My primary goal for Beyonder's sales and solutions journey is to accelerate the growth and adoption of our groundbreaking battery technology in key markets. In doing so, it is important that we focus on driving customer-centric solutions, establishing strategic partnerships, and delivering sustainable, high-performance energy solutions that enable our customers to succeed in their sustainability goals. I am confident that we will exceed our growth target.


Embarking on Beyonder’s next phase

In his new role, Terje will be responsible for overseeing the global sales strategies and solutions for Beyonder, driving business growth, and enhancing partner collaborations.

I recognize that Beyonders transition from a start-up to commercial enterprise is a critical phase that requires a focus on proving the value of our technology in the market. We will enhance customer satisfaction, strategically enter new markets, and ensure operational excellence through a solid go-to-market strategy, and thereby ensure scalability and reliability in our solutions. This next phase is set to deepen our relationships with early adopters, securing key partnerships, and fine-tuning our supply chain to meet growing demand. It will set the foundation for our  long-term success.
