The Norwegian Research council supports ground-breaking green battery development

“The establishment of 10 giga battery factories in Norway is a realistic scenario. The turnover from such a national initiative amounts to approximately 300 billion per year (Norwegian oil and gas export was approx. 330 billion in 2020).
Compared to this, Beyonder’s research project is extremely important as it revolves around Norwegian industrialization of battery production. Not only because of the research and development content, but also because it includes a significant boost towards education. Norway will need 1500-2000 new engineers in this field within 2025, and probably 3 times that within 2030.”
